I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the care dad received during his time in Moorehall Lodge Drogheda. I especially have to mention the week leading to dads passing, the staff in Mellifont Household were so kind that week, we experienced such kindness and warmth from the nurses and the careers. The care was extended to all of the family as we spent the last few days with dad. The years dad spent in Moorehall were hard at times for family and staff but his time in Mellifont was the most peaceful for us all and that was down to the wonderful caregivers who showed patience, humour and kindness to dad and mam. So thank you for all the cups of tea and the chats and please pass on our regards to all in Moorehall Lodge Drogheda especially Mellifont.

My late aunty, Betty, lived in Moorehall Lodge in Ardee for the last nine and a half years. She was as happy there as anywhere ever in her life.
The care and attention and friendship she received from the management and staff were second to none. They looked after her with professionalism and dignity, and a great sense of humour and kindness. They were her family, and we were always made welcome to her home.

I recently spend two weeks on respite care in June in your Drogheda facility. I am writing to congratulate you on a magnificent facility. Too often we hear about the complaints being made about care homes. I would like to say that the level of care I received was fabulous, the staff were welcoming, caring and nothing was too much trouble to them. The facility itself was wonderful and lucky is the person who gets sent to you for care.
