Moorhall Living scoops Age Friendly Business Award
Moorehall Living capped a superb week at Saturday’s Louth Business Awards, taking the top honours in the Age Friendly Business category.
The award comes on the back of an amazing treble at the Nursing Homes Ireland Care Awards 2015.
The Age Friendly Business category at the Louth Business Awards was fiercely contested with Moorehall Living up against Casala/Netwell Centre, McCabe’s Pharmacy and Felda Health and Fitness in the final four at the Carrickdale Hotel.
“It was amazing to hear our names called out as winners in a room of 550 guests – especially as Dundalk Chamber had a record number of entries for the Awards,” said CEO Sean McCoy.
“This continues a period of celebration for Moorehall Living after the success of our staff members at the Nursing Homes Ireland Care Awards 2015.”
Moorehall Lodge Ardee’s Carol McLoughlin, Michelle Watters and Breege Conlon all took top honours at the prestigious national awards in Dublin.
Carol won the national Nursing Home Director of Nursing/Person in Charge Award, and Breege and Michelle took the highest prize for the Nursing Home Community Initiative category.
“The Age Friendly Business award is a great reflection on the unique care that all the staff at Moorehall Living give in Moorehall Lodge Ardee, Moorehall Lodge Drogheda, Moorehall Disability Services, Moorehall Homecare and our retirement village,” said Sean.
“We are all very passionate about our work and are very proud of the unique and warm care environment we have created where people really flourish.
“Moorehall Living are a proud contributor to the local economy and employ 250 people in the Louth Meath area.”
